READ HERE BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

1) Watch one of the kickoff videos if you missed them (slides linked here with examples of journey mapping and photovoice are outlined on pgs. 15-18)

2) Select one method of evaluation --either journey mapping or photovoice

3) Watch that video and see written directions

4) Submit. Send journey mapping link to Radaya or upload photovoice to this page!

HOW TO CREATE YOUR JOURNEY MAP ON PADLET

  1. Log in or create an account in Padlet (it’s free): padlet.com

  2. Click on the “make a padlet” button

  3. Choose the “timeline” option and click “select”

  4. Rename your padlet and add a description (this information should pop up immediately on the right-hand side of the screen)

  5. Change the wallpaper, colors, and font of your padlet

  6. Click “save”

  7. Click “start posting”

  1. Go to “share”

  2. Click “link”

  3. Email your journey mapping Padlet link to radaya@ubunturesearch.com

  6. Please name any community members, partner organizations, and other resources that had an impact on this project.

  7. As we are still in a pandemic, what obstacles (if any) does your community/organization still face?

VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS FOR PHOTO VOICE

(REMEMBER: YOU NEED TO TAKE THE PHOTOS BEFOREHAND TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT)

 

WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS OF PHOTOVOICE PRESENTATION

PADLET INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Log in or create an account in Padlet (it’s free): padlet.com

  2. Click on the “make a padlet” button

  3. Choose the “shelf” option and click “select”

  4. Rename your padlet and add a description (this information should pop up immediately on the right-hand side of the screen)

  5. Change the wallpaper, colors, and font of your padlet

  6. Click “save”

  7. Click “start posting”

  8. Name each section with one processing question (listed below under “Photo Voice Processing Questions”)

  9. Click the “+” and add at least 1 photo (the more the merrier) you have taken as part of your project to respond to each question

  10. Add 3-5 sentences under each photo explaining why you chose it and how it resonates with the question asked

  11. Repeat with all the questions

  12. Record yourself on Zoom narrating your entire Padlet (SEE BELOW FOR ZOOM INSTRUCTIONS)

ZOOM INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Log in or create a Zoom account (a free one): zoom.com

  2. Share your Padlet screen

  3. Click “record” and record to your computer/laptop

  4. Narrate each question/section with the photos you chose, the 3-5 sentences, and any other information we should know (MAX 15 MINUTES)

  5. Download the recording

  6. Go to the Just Recovery Mini Grantees form (below)

  7. Fill out form and upload video

  8. Submit form

  9. YOU’RE DONE!!!
