What We Do

FOSTERING RESEARCH BASED ACCOUNTABILITY TO CREATE AN EQUITABLE WORLD IS WHAT WE DO.

HERE IS WHY:

We need to build an active bridge between the theory and praxis of collective liberation.

We need to practice talking about liberation more in our day-to-day activities.

We need to know that being Black is not a problem.

We need to create and support Black-owned and Black-led institutions.

We need to live as unencumbered by anti-Blackness as possible.

We need to embrace Black aliveness.

THIS IS HOW:

LEARN THROUGH FACILITATION.

We facilitate learning opportunities for organizations, teams, and leaders looking to:

  • increase their intersectional racial justice, equity, and liberation literacy and practice;

  • improve academic and social-emotional outcomes for youth and adults;

  • gain tools and strategies to embrace conflict;

  • develop transformative leadership skills.

LEARN THROUGH EVALUATION.

We evaluate programs and strategies for organizations, schools, foundations, and government entities looking to:

  • assess the merit, worth, function, or significance of a program or initiative;

  • build the capacity of staff, volunteers, participants, or community members to conduct evaluation activities;

  • use stories and storytelling as data;

  • create evaluation frameworks, designs, or plans for complex initiatives, multi-site programs, or portfolios of projects.

LEARN THROUGH ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT.

We build strategy and design programs with organizations, teams, and communities looking to:

  • design organizational strategy;

  • create learning agendas and strategic plans for long-term growth and sustainability;

  • develop systems, processes, and tools to increase the capacity of the organization;

  • advise leadership to make plans and decisions.

 WE LOVE SCHOOL.

WE INNOVATE.

WE CONGRATULATE.

WE BUILD HIGH.

WE STAY FLY.

WE WATCH THE MOON.

WE WORK TO BLOOM.
