Hello! UBUNTU is excited to be working with you. This page will house any and all information related to the storytelling evaluation process.

READ HERE BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

1) If you have not touched base with the UBUNTU team yet please email Sojourner (the point of contact listed above at the top of this page)

2) Find your method of evaluation --either journey mapping or photovoice

3) Watch that video and review the written directions

4a) For journey mapping: share the link with Sojourner’s email (listed above at the top of this page)

4b) For photovoice: upload the project onto this page in the respective bucket listed at the bottom of this page!

(REMEMBER: YOU CAN ADD ANY PHOTOS YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT)

HOW TO CREATE YOUR JOURNEY MAP ON PADLET

Log in or create an account in Padlet (it’s free): padlet.com
Click on the “make a padlet” button
Choose the “timeline” option and click “select”
Rename your padlet and add a description (this information should pop up immediately on the right-hand side of the screen)
Change the wallpaper, colors, and font of your padlet (if you wish)
Click “save”
Click “start posting”
Once you are done go to the three dots on the right hand side

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR JOURNEY MAP

Click “share and export”
Click “add members”
Share your journey mapping Padlet link to sojourner@ubunturesearch.com AND ebony@ubunturesearch.com
Email Sojourner that you have completed your map so we can confirm it is shared/received or not!

(REMEMBER: YOU NEED TO TAKE THE PHOTOS BEFOREHAND TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT)

PADLET INSTRUCTIONS

Log in or create an account in Padlet (it’s free): padlet.com
Click on the “make a padlet” button
Choose the “shelf” option and click “select”
Rename your padlet and add a description (this information should pop up immediately on the right-hand side of the screen)
Change the wallpaper, colors, and font of your padlet
Click “save”
Click “start posting”
Name each section with one processing question (listed below under “Photo Voice Processing Questions”)
Click the “+” and add at least 1 photo (the more the merrier) you have taken as part of your project to respond to each question
Add 3-5 sentences under each photo explaining why you chose it and how it resonates with the question asked
Repeat with all the questions
Record yourself on Zoom narrating your entire Padlet (SEE BELOW FOR ZOOM INSTRUCTIONS)

ZOOM INSTRUCTIONS

Log in or create a Zoom account (a free one): zoom.com
Share your Padlet screen
Click “record” and record to your computer/laptop
Narrate each question/section with the photos you chose, the 3-5 sentences, and any other information we should know (MAX 15 MINUTES)
Download the recording
Go to the Kauffman Storytelling form (below)
Fill out form and upload video
Submit form
YOU’RE DONE!!!
